A giant Superman statue, a space shuttle replica and a plethora of cats running alongside the road entertained Andrew and I on the road to Dothan, AL. It was so nice to see green grass replace the white snow that we’ve seen on the ground for so long in Missouri!

The “chilly” Alabama weather was a wonderful welcome from the cold Missouri temperatures as we filmed outside. The diverse terrain made filming an ease as we walked through swamps, set up blinds in open fields and created a deer mineral site in the thick timber. We had a great place to film thanks to Jeff Mccallister and his family. Mule Shoe Plantation was beautiful! Wes Morgan and cameraman Derek Kilgore were great to work with, and made our Alabama stay one to remember!
Andrew and I had a wonderful time and are grateful for the amazing southern hospitality that was shown to us. We can’t wait to go back!
